How To Use Basepoker (Play money version)

Learn how to get started with Basepoker. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on account creation, navigating the site, joining games, and using key features. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, find everything you need to enjoy a seamless poker experience.

Step 1: Sign up

To get started, sign up using your email, Google, or X.com account.

Step 2: Create a Table

Once you’ve signed up and logged in, click on the “Create Table” button.

Step 3: Customize your Table

A modal will appear with several options to customize your table:

  • Title: Choose a unique name for your table.
  • Stakes: Select the stakes for the game. Options include P100/P200, P200/P500, and P500/P1,000 (P means Play money. We currently only support Play money. Crypto is coming soon)
  • Minimum Players: Specify the minimum number of players needed to start the game.
  • Password: Set a 4-digit number that players will use to sit in your table.

After filling out all the required fields, click the “Create Table” button. Your table will be created instantly.

Step 4: Buy-in

The host and players must buy in to join the table. The buy-in range is automatically determined based on the selected stakes, typically 50 to 100 times the blinds. For example, with P100/P200 stakes, the minimum buy-in would be P5,000 and the maximum would be P20,000.

Step 5: Invite Friends

Once your table is set up, you will see an invite link. You can share this link directly with your friends or instruct them to visit the Basepoker lobby, find your table, and enter the password.

That’s it! Start the Game!

As soon as the minimum number of players join the table, the game will automatically begin.

Host Responsibilities

Currently, Basepoker only supports play money games. As a host, you have additional responsibilities:

  • Buy-In Requests: Approve or deny requests from players wanting to sit in the game.
  • Add-Chip Requests: Approve or deny requests from players to add more chips during the game.
