
Go to Tournament Page
- Log in to Basepoker and navigate to the Tournament Page.
- In the Tournament Page, you will see a list of scheduled tournaments.
- Look for the “Create tourney” button on the right-hand side of the screen and click on it.
This will open the Create a Tournament modal, where you can configure the settings for your new tournament.
Choose Your Tournament Settings
When the Create a Tournament modal opens, you will be presented with two primary options for setting up your tournament:

Option A: Quick Start
The Quick Start option comes with settings that enable faster game setup. Tournament details to Fill:
- Tournament Title: Give your tournament a unique name.
- Starting Time: Schedule when the tournament will begin.
- Chips (Currency Selection): Decide which currency will be used.
- Buy-in: Set the entry cost. You can also opt for a freeroll, which requires no entry fee.
- Guarantee: Define the guaranteed prize pool.
- Game Speed: Choose between Fast, Regular, or Slow (Blind structures and intervals are already set as default).
- Custom Branding: Add letters or a short message to appear at the center of the table.
- Password: Optionally set a password for a private tournament.
- Charge Fee: Decide whether you want to take a fee from the buy-ins (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or 25%).

Option B: Customize
For a more detailed configuration, choose the Customize option. Additional Tournament Parameters:
- Stack Sizes: Select between 10BB, 25BB, 50BB, 100BB, 200BB for starting stacks.
- Blind Intervals: Determine the duration of each blind level (3min, 5min, 8min, 12min).
- Late Registration: Allow players to join during later blind levels (e.g., until Level 10, 11, or 12).
- Payout Distribution: Select the percentage of players who get paid (Top 10%, Top 20%, etc.) and consider a flat payout structure if desired.
- Re-entries: Choose whether players can re-enter if they bust out (None, 1 time, 2 times, Unlimited).
Finalize and Create the Tournament
Once you have chosen either Quick Start or Customize and have filled in all necessary details:

- Review Your Settings: Check your tournament title, time, buy-in, payout structure, and any fees.
- Confirm: Click on the Create Tournament button to finalize your tournament.
After confirming, your tournament will appear in the tournament lobby, where players can see its details.

Player Registration
To join, a player clicks the “Register” button. A buy-in modal will pop up, displaying the buy-in amount, any fees, and confirming the registration details. Once completed, the player is officially entered into the tournament.
During the Tournament

Real-Time Information
After the tournament starts, players will notice a tournament info box in the top-left corner of the table screen. This section displays critical real-time updates, such as: when late registration ends, current prize pool, player’s current rank.

Detailed Info Box
If players click on the tournament info box, a more detailed summary appears, showing: Blind levels and schedules, player stack sizes, remaining players, next prize milestones.
Creating a poker tournament in Basepoker is straightforward with either the Quick Start or Customize options.
